Here's an image of the bus that took us to and from the convention center every day. The convention center where I attended educational sessions and learned a whole bunch. Really.
I also toured around on the wide boulevards of scenic downtown. As evidenced below.

Another big factor in the creation of the city was the mighty stockyards. Amazing to see.
Chicago's also making some new history with the beautiful Millennium Park, where major public gatherings are taking place all the time. I promise.
At one side of the park is Anish Kapoor's "Cloud Gate", affectionately known as "The Bean". It's highly reflective and helps to prove I was there. Seeing it.
Since Chicago invented the skyscraper, I couldn't visit the city without seeing the newest tower, Aqua:

As an architect, I made sure to take in the Burnham Building and its Atwood Cafe:
So there you have it, undisputable proof of my highly educational journey.
